They are saying it is the second worse class thus far of top ten classes from last year. Their point system is based on stars as we all know, don't sweat it, we will the get the horses we need!!

Not what they are saying.....we are only ranked ahead of Vandy and Kentucky in the SEC though is pretty bad

Yea the order of the list doesn't make sense. I agree with the #1, but how is UCLA not #2.

their rating system is based off of the number of 4 and 5 star players a team has. the more 4 and 5's you have the higher your ranked. this class might not be as flashy or star filled as last years but Dooley and co are getting the players for their system and kids that will not have the Bryce Brown "all about me" frame of mind. they are smart, hard working team 1st players that fit our system. plus we have several guys that will be bumped up to a 4 star before NSD. let's not forget that Dooley's biggest recruiting will happen after the season, that's when he's gonna be making in-homes and traveling all week trying to swing kids from other schools and shooting for big name guys. I’m not saying this will be a top 5 class or be loaded with dominate freshmen but it will be filled with players that play positions of need, team leaders and some speed guys/big play threat guys. we should finish strong when the big time recruiting kicks in after the season when Dooley can use his southern charm on moms and dads. I hope he can pull it off because this recruiting class is very important... best of luck coach DD and Co.

At least we arent Penn State. Wow what a disaster that program is headed for. 1 two star, 2 three stars and 1 four star and thats it.

What's the prize for finishing 2nd or 3rd in the recruiting of players?

I didnt realize those players had already signed papers with schools? I guess I missed NSD this year. They need to quit moving it up and surprising us fans.

I will say that I support the STAR rankings as over the long haul higher rated class do better. Having said that.... You would assume that that all if not most of players that are being recruited are better than what his currently on the field at some point during the game or practice. You would have to believe that this year a 3 star recruit is better than a Walk On that is lined on the roster. I do not know who can go to practices, but I would think do to the lack of solid players adds to the complexity of the current problem and prep for games. Agreed or Disagree

This is 24 players that are already committed or very, very good chance they will commit to UT. Anybody that does not think that is a quality class based on the state of our program at this point in time is crazy. It builds lots of quality depth at positions of extreme need. Adds athletes to improve our special teams. And it has some players that potential to be top flight players. Then add in the fact that with the last two spots we have left we could land at least one of the big time recruits we are in decent shape with (Pagan, Bigelow, etc.). With this 2011 class coming in to provide some talent depth, the 2012 class will include more 'star' power as they go after a few more high risk, high reward players.

It appears that most in not all will be be 2nd depth chart next year. I don't see many any upperclassmen would be JR or SR ahead going into fall camp.

Match these recruits up with ala in 3 years and we will see the same results as sat night. Years of 3* will not beat years of 4* & 5*.

I fixed the star rankings for everyone so people would quit complaining about stars. I have more credibility then rivals this year.

You left us with 5 3*. I thought all our recruits were going to get at least 4* or possible 5*.

just glancing at your list worley smith dallas kerbyson posey saulsberry jordan williams justin coleman randolph are all 3 stars but as long as they are solid it will not matter. if any player should be moved up on that list though it should definately be worley he is in beast mode
