Rivals Rankings

Why in the heck does Scout not have Ahmad Dixon as commited to us. They rank him as the #3 safty and a 5 star so that would help our ranking there alot, but how much do you all think?

when we get chaz green and the other 4 star ol guys and if we get lb jones and hopefully shirly we could end up top 3 or so,what gets me is how much rivals and scout and espn rank players so different scout has jaquez smith a 5and a couple others with 5 star

I don't get it either. When Willis decommited, I counted we lost 137 points. When he commited back, we gained back less than 100 points. Go figure!

Actually we just about gained back with A. Dixon/Willis commiting the same amount of points that were dropped just due to Willis decommiting?????

Dixon isnt going anywhere. He said he told CLK and staff he "wanted to be a Vol for a long time".

Midfielder - you're a pretty big downer. You were saying that he was a non-commit last night and you were saying Willis wasn't coming. I'm not saying you might not be right but come on, have some faith man.

here's his quote about willis 'Still hearing UNC, where are you guys getting this Willis to UT stuff from?' don't put much into what he says.

Looking at the all the SEC teams in the top 10........wonder how many years before the NC trophey leaves the SEC?????

Midfielder10 is a very depressed young man, which is the cause of his consistent negativity!

Stop posing as a UT fan Midfielder10, you are a phony, a big fat phony! I have never seen one post from you to make me believe that you actually like the Vols!

Plus A. Dixon said that he couldn't pass up the opportunity to play for Monte Kiffin. So I say he isn't going anywhere and he'll stay in Knoxville.

What are the chances for Willis, Miller, Ambles and Taylor to move up a star ranking?

Really good or is it more of a pipe dream?

Taylor will have to get a 4th star. The only reason he was not even considered for anything higher is his size. Phooey I say.

Ambles should get a 5th star.

Not sure about Willis or Miller.

The way they talked about Juwuan James in the UA game he should probably be considered for a 5th star. Doubt that it will happen.

Taylor will move up, Ambles has a decent chance, Miller is a tossup, and Willis will stay at a 4.

Just passing on what others are saying I didn't offer any of my own predictions on Dixon. Willis i am gladly wrong on along with most everyone except LV.

There are so many coaching changes, and so many rumors about some of our coaches leaving, that honestly I think 30% of the players on every top ten team on rivals rght now could switch at any moment to another team. I just want to keep what we got and pick up Chaz green and one other OL and I think we're set.

No, dude. Most people on here were calling for Willis to recommit.

Yes indeed.

The talk according to many including LV was that Vols lead by a large margin.

This board kicks tail.

Lemmings had no idea until he was corrected that Dixon committed to the Vols.

If you had followed this board you would not have been surprised by the re-commit by Willis

I guess I'm assuming we land at least two of these: Cullen, Green, Robinson, Coleman, Stone, Arie K. LV says we lead for most of them..

Cullen may have committed to Oklahoma. I remember reading that on this board.
