As I mentioned earlier, I think it was his best option remaining. LSU and ND didn't seem to be pursuing him, you guys win.

LSU was not after Worley, and as I mentioned Kelly didn't meet with Worley on his 3 day visit to ND on purpose.

While I would have preferred Brissett, and I have concern over some schools passing on Worley, I am, nevertheless, very glad to have him.

you can't just offer the 25 guys you want. if you don't get a lot of them, you will be screwed. so you offer a bunch of guys, and if they only wanted 1 QB and felt they had good shots with QBs higher on their board than worley, his offer would not be committable. Now if they later missed on those other QBs, that might change.

my question is, if everyone else backed off this guy, is this really even that great of a pick up for us? jhop? LV?

I don't blame CDD for taking him, especially considering Chaney's apparent love for him. I don't think that you can pass on Worley to see if Brissett lands in your lap.

Kid threw for 3600 yards and 50 TD his soph year, that's crazy! Kid has a 4.1 GPA as well. If he has a monster Sr year, he will close out as a 4* IMO. GBO!

Justin Worley has committed to Tennessee calling the coaches this morning. This is the guy that Dooley and the offensive staff wanted. They had him at the top of their board.
