Rivals Reporting Justin Worley Commitment

This kid is definitely a project QB. Very happy to have him on board. Chaney must see something in this kid, and I trust his judgement. He's smart and your field general has to have the goods between the ears! Accurate and smart equals wins!

I love the know it alls on the board.

A QB guru like Chaney that we trust and know produces results (Brees, Crompton) has been evaluating a guy for 2 years and we land him. Only some guys who have watched Youtube highlight videos of some other kids want to come on and complain and moan about the fact that the staff took the wrong kid.

Why not trust the professionals and be happy that we landed a solid, mold-able player who provides short term depth and competition as well as a long term option to start?

Have a little optimism sometimes people.

It doesn't change my opinion that Dooley will be the UT version of Mike Shula, but this is a good pickup.

Why? He has a proven DC. A proven OC. A proven WR coach. A proven recruiter in Lance.

What part of our coaching staff leads you to believe these guys can't get the job done.

Part of the staff is the same staff we had last year.

A monumental day--mark it on your claendars. A positive comment from SGM (although he did have to preface it with the obligatory negative qualifier)

Lance and Jim provide much needed continuity to our staff. Soooo glad we have them both

This is a great addition... especially now when recruiting is slow. I think alot of recruits look at the QB you have commited. Last year it took way too long to get one on board. IMO this only helps this years recruiting efforts.

Helps recruiting a ton with offensive players and any other SC prospects. No matter what any of us think, this is a kid Dooley wanted, not a fallback option, so should be viewed as a great get no matter what us message board folk think of his ability.

He just made a positive comment. Why are you focused on anything else in that post?

So CDD comes in and picks up his #1 QB target in July. I cant recall... How long did it take X to pick up his third or fourth choice at QB? I am starting to think CDD aint too shabby at recruiting.

People are quick to forget that we've got 2 guys that have a combined 3 #1 classes as RCoors.

Didn't take long to send two elsewhere.

Does anyone know how to find Northwestern high school's football schedule? Would kind of like to go see him play this season.

Millgan, is that Milligan University you speak of?(Or Milligan College, can't remember. In the AAC tho, with Tenn Weslyan and Bryan, Virginia Intermont and Covenant? And as for your question, you can go to scout and or MaxPreps and search HS's just like you search college team pages. Not all HS's take the time to send in their info, but the bigger schools do. Or jus google the school with city state and call them up. Someone is likely to know.

Yep sure is, ha i wish it was a university, then maybe we could have a football team. Milligan College, that's us. Ok, thanks alot for the info, sure do appreciate it.

You wouldn't want to miss UT games (and other big time SEC matchups) to watch AAC football. The soccer is top notch, NAIA anyway, but football? Nah.

I played @ Bryan. (Bball) One of my 'mates brothers played @ Milligan. Melkahm and Yani Kifle. (They're from Ethiopia, then Alexandria, VA) Great guys, those two.
