My dad played for Harstville back in the 50's. After the Satterfields all graduated, the Yellow Jackets have fallen back to the pack, but you guys were the real deal in single A. Seems like I recall you guys scoring like 90 points in a game.

When did Trousdale County (Hartsville) fall back to the pack? They won the state championship as recently as 2005.

we went to 3a about 6 yrs ago with a single a enrollment that was clint Satterfileds son Wesley yrs at qb. Went went from running the ball 96 % of the time to running no huddle 5 wide outs. Our actuall first yr of 3a we made it to semifinals of state lost on a 2 point conversion to eventuall champs that yr. We did go back to single a 2 yrs ago last yr wasnt a good yr because of injuries lost in playoffs to the champ in a close game the year befoe though they dominated. Trousdale county football dominates single a and we were rated in the top 5 of 3a for tree of the 4 yrs we were there. The Satterfieds are unreal.

As far as falling back to the pack, I meant that there wasnt the total domination that was present for a few years.

I just know that we would draw 2K or more to Franklin High games (Brentwood games always drew the whole town) but when I had to work there and help out a doctor last year when they won the state, the whole town was GONE. They were all in Murfreesboro during the middle of the day.

I think the last Satterfield graduates this yr or maybe it was last year if clint leaves the domination might go away but not why he is there.

The 90 you were talking about was in 96 or 98 cant rem that yr we outscored opponents like 586 to 40 for the year. We beat Monterey 91 to 0 three weeks later we had Red Boiling Spring they said the only way they would play was if we run 8 min quarters we took them down like 70 something to nothing in 8 min quarters that was total dominance.

If cut went to Harstville in that area he would have left after the third possesion. We run the Wing t back then 2 back in 4.4 range a qb 6"3 240 running 4.4 also and fullback around 4.5 maybe 4.6. Everyone knew what was comming about 9 different plays and 1 waggle pass. Coach took pride in knowing that the knew what was comming and they still coudnt stop us. I rem everyweek we would see 9 or 10 in the box coach didnt care we still run the ball 90 percent of the time. The only reason he changed and went to 5 wideouts he wanted his son to get noticed at the QB postion.

Probably, Jordan is a LB but insists on playing RB. Sommer is behind a few prospects on our board.

hv, what happened with sommer? Weren't we fairly interested in him at one point?

He is a guy that we would probably take, but we he isn't a top priority at safety or WR. He is getting a whole lot of interest from South Carolina and Bama and is geniunely torn. The problem is that we will only take 2-3 WRs and 2-3 safeties at most in this class and already have Bell and Floyd committed. We still have these guys we are recruiting for those positions that are likely ahead of Sommer:

Jameel Owens
Rod Wilkes
Lamaar Thomas
Kye Staley
A.J. Alexander

and a few others that are about even with him.

I go to school with DeAndre Jones and all I can say is he's a beast. Unfortunally he will most likely be going to Auburn or Alabama, but UT will be in his top 3-4

eh, there are no moral victories in recruiting. being #2 is about as meaningful as being the "lowest fat mayonnaise"
