You don't buy a Rob Thomas album, you download two or three of his tracks that are okay. He's a pop artist. You don't buy a Britney Spears album, do you? You don't pick up Pink's new one, do you?

Comparing someone who is an actual musician to Brittany Spears is just absurd. Also Pink would knock your head off of she knew she was comparedto Spears. There are reasons why musicians like Pink (although not really my cup of tea) and Thomas are allowed to write their own music and produce their own albums. They know WTF they are doing.

Pink can wail. I agree. The Spears comparison wasn't exactly fair, I will admit. I just don't really dig on Rob Thomas is all.

I didn't like his first solo album. This new one is more like Matchbox stuff. I really like it.

Do a search for Tabitha's Secret. You might get a pleasant surprise if you listen to the Don't Play With Matches cd.

Thanks for the update. MB20's first CD will always be one of my favorites, but I haven't liked most of Rob's radio-friendly pop since...I'll be sure to check it out.
