She maybe a public figure but she is not an elected official, she does the same thing Gore, Bill Clinton and others do, does the media and this white house mock and make fun of them? And I am not even really all that disturbed by the media I have come to expect that from them. The White House should be above this kind of thing.

"should" being the key word.....I would not expect to hear any mocking of AG or BC from this administration

Who needs that when every single word is on the teleprompter?

Seriously, I don't see what the big deal is and why it's worthy of such widespread mockery.
It's also amazing how stupid a move this is politically. This is the kind of thing you'd expect from a hack analyst on MSNBC or Fox; not the White House Press Secretary. This is like pouring gas on a fire for Palin's whole "I'm an outsider and they're a bunch of out of touch elitists" angle.

Scott McClellan was equally as bad during the Bush administration. He had no charisma and no control over the press.
Didn't that Perino(sp) or whatever her name was fail on a geography question or some nonsense when she was first added on the the Bush staff?

Correction: Just GOOGLED it. She failed on even knowing about the Cuban missle crisis...

In a way, Palin asked for it. Her speech had lots of shots directly at Obama that weren't policy-based. I hope the TPer's dump her. She's more trouble than help to the cause.

I disagree, how many pundits and politicians took shots and completely trashed Bush? He said away from partisian politics and using the White House to go after political opponents. The White House should be above this kind of thing.

Robert Gibbs is a moron. Evidence of that fact is how he spun Obama's opposition to W's Iraq surge in 2007 to success today.
