Robert Gillespie hired as new RB Coach

Might want to check how many kids who he recruited are still in school...

According to WV, something like 75% of his recruits never made it to school, or played less than 1 year

Oh, just like Bourque?

if they pay gillespie more than $300,000 that won't look good considering that is the most they offered graham.

I'm happy with the switch from Graham to Gillespie. Pro style, I'd rather have Graham; but I believe Gillespie is a better fit for the offense CBJ has run in the past. Looks like a good move for both.

Hate to break it to you, but Graham wasn't running pro style at USCjr. He was running a very similiar offense to what we have now.

Theres an article out there from Hyams (I know) that Graham was offered a title and 300k and took less money at Freeshoes U. He DIDNT WANT TO BE HERE.

I was told by a guy that know's alot about the workings at the athletic department...... Coach Jones lives dreams, breathes footall at least 16 hours every day, Saturday and Sunday...Tennessee offered Grahm a title and matched the $300,000 amount that has been talked about....Coach Graham didn't want to make that committment so he accepted the opportunity to leave
He just did not want to be here.

You can tell that he eats, sleeps, and breathes football. Hard work will lead us to the top sir.

Way more pro style during Lattimore's freshman year. They tend to go more toward the spread when he's out of the game.

To heck with Graham. I actually feel we upgraded our staff with Gillespie. He will open up recruiting pipelines into FL. and is just as good , if not better, of a coach.

Agree. At this point he IS a better coach. At least he has a more proven track record. Graham's career as a coach is based off of a RB that would have succeeded anywhere and would have gone to sc regardless of his recruiter.

If he wants to be here and Cjg did not want to be here, we are better .
