I normally don't wooo when singing along with the crowed. I'll hold my breath and start signing again after that. BUT!!! the night we beat bama, I WOOOO'd all night long.

Well the woo is a staple. I got a lot of friends from other SEC schools and the woo seems to be their favorite part. Or at least the only part they all know. My daughter waits for the woo on Saturdays at the Jordan residence. My Auburn buddy in particular is diehard War Eagle but he loves to sing Rocky Top as loud as possible at any bar in Georgia. Especially if Bama, Fla, or GA is on the menu that week.

If you ever catch an old enough Tennessee highlight, it's funny to not hear the woo. I'm not even sure what year it started but it would be weird to not hear it at this point.

Posted in this thread years ago about being a tiny kid and could only woo because I didn’t know the words.

Well now I have a 3 year old daughter and when I sing Rocky Top to her she enthusiastically yells “Woo!!” And it’s the cutest thing ever.

The Woo should stay, if only for our kids sake
