Can we increase the $3 million assistant pool to land garner? He has built a fence around atlanta for too long. He only makes $300k a year!

I think Kiffin & Co. offered him 7 figures 3 years ago. Is there any chance he would jump for 1.25 mill? He is most definitely worth it. And it would weaken a key rival.

He is not and will never leave Georgia unless he is fired. His wife doesn't want to move.

Let me drop some knowlege on you people. 1) The deal about his wife never leaving Atlanta is BS. The woman married a coach, coaches move, its part of life. 2) The reason he didnt come to knoxville wasnt money, Lane only offered him the position of running game coordinator. The only way Garner would leave was for Lane to offer him the Asst. Head coach (Orgeron) or Defensive Coordinator position (Monte). That was not gonna happen. So instead of a promotion, we just offered a ****load of cash. He wisely said no thanks. Garner wants to be a head coach one day, and he is not gonna take a job that doesnt bring him closer to that goal, period. His wife has NOTHING to do with it.
