Ah, the old theory of 'if everyone else is doing it, it's ok'. Another example as to why our society is going in the direction that it is. Too many people excusing their bad behavior by pointing out others or huddling together as a unit screaming that 'everyone else is doing 'it''. Being a man sometimes means standing apart and having some scrupples and not worrying about what everyone else does.

It's not a point of right and wrong. Per your statement, "real men" take care of their own business. Why should "real men" worry about the business of others unless, of course, theres's level of insecurity present festering a need to deflect?
I'd argue it's more of a downfall of society that vulturistic personalities latch onto topics of discussion pertaining to the misfortune of others. Everyone wants to be Judge but no one wants to be judged.
