Any suggestions on parking at the game?

The best parking is in one of the large parking lots like Publix or one of the other public transit sites away from the stadium. If I'm not mistaken they run the transit buses near the stadium on a regular basis. Here's a link to their schedule. Have fun and GO VOLS! I'm not sure I will make the game but may stop by for some pre-game tailgating.

Any tips on where to go or tailgate before?

I remember from our last couple of trips that most of the UF campus is open for tailgating--you have to get there early to get a good spot---probably by 7-8AM. Otherwise, park in the lots around the campus ($10-$20) Make sure you don't walk around with an open container--it's oK to drink by your tailgate area on campus or back in the parking areas behind the campus (yards, etc.)--not on sidewalks or streets. UF has a good strip of bars right across from campus (midtown area) and some good burger / burrito joints --- copper monkey, swamp, relish, burrito brothers, el indio and a few good bars -- gatorcity, swamp, swamphead brewery

best exit in and out of the city -- archer road (tons of good restaurants, grocery stores, winghouse, sonnys barbecue, 4rivers smokehouse, walmart, etc.)

here's a link from the uf website with parking rules, maps, etc.

Taken from gatorcountry.com. Been scouting out all the different options of things to do before & after the game. They are saying most visitors park close to University & 13th.

What I like is that you can park for free in a lot of areas. Just get there early.

There's a plaza on campus that you can park on (grass area) - Plaza of the Americas, near the library--you must get there early according to uf fans to get one of the spots.

Also be very careful of parking in unauthorized spots. I've heard many stories of shop owners in the strip across from UF having cars towed. I'm not sure if that is a concern on game day but is definitely done during the week.

Vol fans going to the game:

You might be able to get more information about this on your various sites, but UT usually hosts a pregame fanfare/party a few hours before kickoff in one of the conference rooms of the Reitz Union on the 3rd floor. You can get to it by taking Museum Rd. to Reitz Union Dr., or if you're coming from the University Ave area (i.e., our "strip" area), you can take Lemerand down to Museum. Reitz Union is a great place to get out of the heat and chill out if you need to. There's a big food court, bookstore, etc., but most importantly - tons of couches and leather chairs that you can plop down in and just enjoy the air conditioning. UT, at least in previous years, will put out orange balloons and one of those blow up Smokey's with signs about which conference room the party is in. Just keep in mind that, due to renovations this year, you can't take enter on the second level anymore via the ramp. You have to go down to the first level and take the elevator or stairs up. It can be a little confusing, but like I said, I'm sure UT will have it marked out better with signs, orange balloons, etc...just follow the orange, lol.

As always, Welcome to Gainesville and I hope everyone has a safe trip.
