I'll never be a 5* recruit in any sport. But if I was, I wouldn't want to go to a place like Bama FB or Uk Basketball. I'd want to go to a place that is good but where I don't compete with 50 other 5*'s for the limelight.

Nothing wrong with being scared of competition.:eek:lol:

I'd want to go to a place that churns out high draft picks at a regular clip. I don't care if I'm not a huge fish in a small pond while I'm in college. I want to get set up to get paid.

I'd rather get to have a better chance at showcasing my skills than sit on the sideline for 2 years waiting for 5*'s to leave. Then of course I would have to compete with the other 5*'s at my position in my year.

I'm interested to know what percentage of 5*'s go to the NFL from Bama?

Just come to UT and get the best of both worlds.

I don't KNOW what you're talking about, but you may ASK over on the BAMA BOARDS. I bet they would have some INSIDER KNOWLEDGE.

Starting with Saban's first recruiting class, and only counting guys who made it to draft eligibility, based on Scouts rankings:

Julio Jones - 1st Round
Mark Barron - 1st Round
Tyler Love - Undrafted
Trent Richardson - 1st Round
Dre Kirkpatrick - 1st Round
Nico Johnson - 5th Round
Dee Milliner - 1st Round

Phillip Simms was a 5 star, but transfered to UVA after his second year. He has since dropped out.

So, as a 5* you'd have an 86% chance of getting drafted if you play at least 3 seasons at Bama. Even more impressive, you have a 71% chance of going in the first round.

Alabama became known as the Crimson Tide in 1907.

Tide laundry detergent was introduced to the market in 1946.

Way to keep up you pattern of stupid posts, all of which seem to contain only one period.

And a 100% chance of winning multiple National Championships, which should be the most important statistic.

A guy on twitter asked if he was smart enough to take the money out of the envelopes first.

I responded with

"If he took the money, doesn't that prove Gordon Gee right?"
