Romney getting cocky after

Still ='s an enthusiasm gap.

Then again, isn't that the case across the board right now for the GOP? A sort of indifference?

It's truly odd. You would think that, especially with the swing states that will be in play next year and the problems in them, the GOP would have a much deeper field. But no one really stands out as the total package.

You think the enthusiasm gap is worse than that on the D-side?

Remember the reverence, awe and excitement Obama generated first time around. That is g-o-n-e.

They are desperate to get rid of Barry.

"And in their desperation they turned to a man they didn't fully understand."

This same thinking got us Barry in the first place. Mitt is just another suit from Washington, he might promise jobs, but they all promise something before they get elected. Most never deliver the goods.

I never understood the hang up about him being a Mormon. It's his lousy record that has me most concerned. His healthcare plan for Mass. was a disaster. He embraces man made global warming (climate change whatever), and I get the same vibes from him as I get from McCain he will sacrifice a ton of the principals to "play nice" and it adds up to a very bad mix. Even worse than a straight up leftist in my mind.

I don't know. I'll give the slight edge to a guy who can be bought and sold over a guy who is committed to what I see as the wrong ideals.

You know your up a creek when your options are someone who is totally against your political beliefs and a corrupt phony.

Romney has little to be cocky about.

He is polling behind Bachman presently.

We're talking about the man who couldn't beat
Juan McLame in the last primary.

I was an independent during the time of Reagan Bush. I'm not trying to return to Reagan-Bush.

- Mitt Romney, 1994 MA Senatorial Campaign

The guy will do and say anything to get elected. He has no foundation. He is not the answer.
