Ronald powell torn acl

Well I feel bad for Powell but I have no sympathy for gator fans. I got told by several of them they would have beat us even if hunter didn't get hurt. Let's see if they can beat us without Powell.

Unfortunately, we'll never know how last year would have turned out.
They carved our defense to pieces on their opening drive. Then, Hunter was wide open to catch a first down. And, of course, then our chances of winning fell to close to 0%.

It's possible we would have pulled out a shootout, but I thought our chances were below 50% going down there.

He may be back in 6 months, but will not be 100% for over a year. Been there done that. If they are smart they will RS him. Will not have the burst off the edge.

Not sure if this has already been said, havent been on VN the last few days, but Florida's best defensive player Ronald Powell recently tore his ACL in spring practice. Hate to hear that, also hate that i already hear excuses from Gainesville

Sorry, dont really play THAT close attention to the gators, but didnt he lead you in sacks, and a previous top 5 recruit ?

Hate to hear that as a parent. Since it happened early, reports are saying he might be back mid season. Hopefully for his sake he makes a full and speedy recovery especially since we won't have to see him. GBO!

Most gator fans will tell you he's been an absolute bust. Great measurables (no homo), but is MIA in game action.

yes, he did. yes, he was.

dj already said it. tem tibow is easily the best defensive player on the team

Florida has enough talent in the 4 deep that he will be replaced pretty easily. If I were a Florida fan, I'd be more worried about that atrocity they call an offense.

Yeah, I agree Florida has enough athletes on defense to be ok there, and by no way would I ever celebrate a torn acl by any athlete. Offensively im curious to see how driskel develops, if he even plays Q this year.

I doubt he could be back by mid-season with a torn ACL?! At least not back at 100% anyway. With as much talent as UF has across the board, I doubt he would even be allowed to play until he is completely 100% back.
