There is nothing wrong with talking about him, he was a coach the same as any of our other coaches were.

He was not the same as any of our other coaches. He sneaked out in the middle of the night just like an old weasel sneaked out of the hen house and tried to take our recruits with him. I've been a Vol fan for over sixty years and am positive none of our other coaches did that. As far as talking about him,there is something wrong with it. It's like rubbing salt into a deep cut and nobody likes that. Please refrain from ever bringing that SOB up again.:angry:

Absolutely correct! This is simply a smear job by those who hate Pearl. No reason to be upset about violations or lies. As Kiffin said, any publicity the basketball program gets is good, regardless of how negative it is. This will make the top players fight to get to come to UT. Who wouldn't want to play for a coach like Pearl who is willing to lie and cheat to have a top program? Go Vols--and hopefully Pearl will keep up the good work. As long as we win, baby every thing else will be ok.
