Can anyone confirm??

Just read on another board where Fellows has a torn right pec/rib muscle that will take six months to repair. CPF allegedly said he could play at 80 % but will leave decision to Fellows.

might be an opportunity there for A. Stewart to get more playing time since he lost the starting safety spot to Morley.

I never knew Morley took his spot... I expected it though and am glad to know we will be seeing more of him. He is a straight balla...

I hope he's a "balla", but I've seen nothing up to this point to evidence that.

really!? I didn't know that. That's awesome to hear though. Morely is a beast and has a chance to be all sec THIS year. I hate this stuff about playing a senior because it's his last year. I say play your best players if it's a freshman or whatever.

Why do you think Morely is the sure starter? I hope he gets a spot, but nothing is slated in stone yet is it?

True KPTVol, we have not seen much of Morley. But Manning must have thought he saw something in Morley when he hinted to Fulmer that Morley should be on the field. One play I can remember (but not the game because I think we lost) was when a team was on about our 1 or 2 and Morley came out of the endzone (and I mean fast) to absolutely pop a running back and stopped him short. It was a hard hit out of nowhere on a runningback when Morley was playing safety. I guess we will see how the season goes with him in the game more this year.

Yea Im not too sure Morely already got a starting spot...I personally dont care either way, aslong as we have a confident defender back there.

Article on Rivals says he tore his pec muscle during the spring and has been working thru it. Maybe now we have a little motive for CPF not kicking Marsoulis(sp) Johnson off the team.?

Wade and Inky pretty much have the starting CB positions locked up. But this could throw a kink into the depth chart. With Morley getting looks at WR and KR added to his back-up/starter role at SS.
My guess would be to have Stewart or D-Mo (whomever isnt starting at SS) prepared to play some corner back.

As much as i hate it for Fellows, playing with a bad wing will get unwanted attention.

Last I checked Morley is not a starter and A. Stewart is in fact starting at SS. TCHFCATUTK stated that Morley still needed to make some improvements to get on the field more. Can anyone cofirm this?

There really isnt anything to confirm. As you stated, D-Mo isnt the starting SS. With 14 practices left its speculation only, that he will out battle Stewart for the position.

With his athleticism we're sure to see plenty of Morley in all three phases of the game.

And what's up with Sinclair #15? He's got some great size. I would like to see him on the field.

losing fellows is a big blow. worse than either of the other 3 secondary positions. there is a reason morley and stewart are battling it out for the SS position and fellows has the FS on lockdown. i personally think fellows is a better corner than anything, so is morley, but they don't see it that way. stewart hasn't been great at safety, by any means, and now he or morley are obviously going to have to swap over to FS. beings we play our mustang package and have 5 players from the secondary on the field alot of the time, this thins us out.

swa the article this a.m....hate it for Fellows...lose a year or play with what seems to be a lot of pain....hurts depth, sure, but we should still be o.k.

Last time I checked, Jonathon Hefney had FS on lockdown and Fellows was battling with Inky and Wade for one of the starting CB spots. I think you're a little confused there buddy. Fellows was expected by many to end up as the odd man out, playing in 5 and 6 DB sets and backing up Inky and Wade. It's still a big loss, though. He's a good corner.

Whether he would have been starter it lessens the number of experienced folks that can play that position. Some other players are going to either have to step up and/or some will have to play longer. Hate it for Fellows.
