Roshaun Fellows Injured??

Thx, but it was on another board. About the surgery, a caller said he talked to Fellows on campus this morning. Fellows told him about the surgery date.

I guess in the long run that's a good decision. Be healthy for next year rather than to play in a semi-injured status and pain.

yeah...i agree...should be worth the short term loss for potential long term success...who knows...gets healthy by December, and maybe he can participate in bowl practice---hopefully there will a bowl practice---and get ready for next spring camp, fall camp etc...

I'm not sure, but what is the rule on a medical redshirt? I know that people like Eric Crouch and Jason White got medical redshirts even though they had already been redshirted, along with a few other people. What is the rule on that and could we use that on Roshaun if needed?:dunno:

Yeah, I was wondering about that, too. I think SI got it wrong. I know you have to apply for a medical redshirt and you never know what the NCAA will do, but Jason White was definitely at OU for 6 years.

i think you have to file for special circumstances...i think we tried to do that for Jerry Colquit in 94, but to no avail....

Seemed like Eric Crouch and Scott Frost were at Nebraska for about 30 years:disappointed:
