That Indy/Cane Ridge game may very well decide the 5A champion (no disrespect to the others still in it). I'll be in the Nashville area this weekend. Might drive up a little early and catch that one...

Just wanted to remind you guys that the actual state title games from 1A-6A will be on TV. No need to worry about finding a station to listen to the games.

They all will be on TV. Plus, they will be streamed from the TSSAA website too for people on their smartphones or laptops, PC's,etc.

3 games will be help on a Friday afternoon-night & the other 3 will be the next day Saturday afternoon-night.

The way they do it is alternate. 1A, 3A, & 5A will play on Friday. 2A, 4A, & 6A will be on Saturday.

The Division II Class A & Division II Class AA games will be on Thursday afternoon-night.

I think Maryville & Oakland are on a crash course to meet for the 6A state title. It's not a given that Maryville will win either. Oakland is really really good too.

Independence was up 42-6 in the 2nd quarter of this game. Wow. What a comeback by Cane Ridge. It's late in the 4th quarter now. Cane Ridge has scored like 28 points in a little over a quarter. Independence held on 49-46 for the victory.

Congrats to Elizabethton cyclones on a great season.... with some better coaching and time management in that game we could have won. Oh well, congrats to Alcoa . The atmosphere for that game was awesome and they have something special going on there! That ballgame was probably the state championship game!

That would be me! Ha! :wink: Just kidding but from what I know I picked I do think I got most of my picks right this week except for the Knox Webb game. I'll total mine later today & see where I stand. Thanks!
