I know its sad. but I have faith that CLK will take us to the promiseland again, heck it would be a nice start to get Brown, Stokes, Jeffrey, and Randle.......WOW:pepper:

Ditto that. There is no way we are getting this guy you all...

There are now threads about the Top 2 Rivals prospects (Barkley and Randle) that have started in the past week for no good reason other than a good laugh or a dream. Next is #3 on the Rivals100, Bryce Brown, a RB who is committed to Miami, and has no interest in us.

But, hey, maybe Monte Kiffin POSSIBLY coming to coach the D will make this RB change his mind and commit to us. :crossfingers: :)

Volmsbd and BloodRUNZOrange, I found you all the perfect player:
1. He is #4 on the Rivals100
2. He plays Defense, so Monte Kiffin could be much more instrumental in recruiting him.
3. He hasn't already committed.
4. He HAS interest in Tennessee per Rivals.

This is someone I think Kiffin is capable of recruiting. A lot more realistic than Barkley (see thread for why he isnt a realistic shot), or Randle (not interested in us, plus who will throw him the ball next year... another big ? for our team). If there isn't a thread for Jenkins, then you guys should hop on it!

The threads were started for no other reason than Kiffin is making contact with them. Is it a longshot? Sure. But if Tennessee thinks these kids are worth reaching out to then it's worth us talking (dreaming) about.

I could've missed it, but I haven't seen a link showing where Kiffin has reached out to Randle.

Up until thursday on this thread, there were only two posts about Randle: One asking if we had a shot, and another saying "no way", both of which were posted in september.

I believe you, but on his profile the latest news is an article from 11/26 talking about him preparing for all-star games. Is there another place it might be?

Well, hopefully Kiff works his magic and puts us at least in the running. One concern I have, which should be on another thread but oh well, is who is going to get these receivers like Brown, Stokes, and possibly Randle the ball? I'm still sort of shocked by what has happened with Boyd. I was pretty sold on him even before Kiffin came in.

It was mentioned yesterday on Sports Talk as well that Tennessee was going to reach out to him again.
