I still dont understand why they fired Shula. He was very close to being 10 and 2 right now and had a top ten recruiting class. What did they expect of him. Its the SEC for gods sake.

I guess the biggest reason I would agree with the firing comes if you look hypothetically to next season; what do you do if he goes 8-4, with losses to the conference bigs again? You can't fire the guy over an "improved" season, but it still doesn't meet Bama expectations.
