RUMOR: Kiffin Resigning/Getting Fired from Bama

And Kiffindoes not qualify as the answer. The guy is inconsistent and mediocre at best.

All bama needs is a qb. They put up 37 points. I don't think offense was the problem in that game. Just imagine what he could do with all the offensive talent we have.

he was given a shell of a program at USC and it operated as such. He brougth in great talent and that talent is now knocking on the door. He did good things at Tennessee in the short amount of time he was here. But you can't tell the masses that. Despite holding a player's meeting and a press conference, he rode off like a thief in the night and never looked back.

He might have done that but he'll always be hated at both schools and he doesn't deserve any kind of recognition nor any respect from us.

ah, perfect response. Basically the same thing from EZE.

"Yeah, in reality he's good, but we can't admit that," is a shorter way to get your point across.

When the team bus leaves the head coach behind after an away game..that really says a lot about that head coach..

Good? More like overrated. If you think he was the best we could do then I don't know what to tell you. You can give credit to the man all you want but it doesn't mean everyone else on Volnation has too.

How can you say he is good? His track record simply does not support it.

His offense put up a lot of their points after they got down big and Ole Miss was in the prevent. And, he played a big part in letting that Ohio State game get away.

You are like a lot of UT fans that act like a jilted boyfriend. You were dating a 5, but when you got dumped, all you can think about is how you lost a 10.

You really think we have recruited better than Alabama on the offensive side of the ball?

And another thing, Kiffin went 7-6 here two years removed from an SEC title game appearance.

Butch, who I also have questions about, went 7-6 last year two years after a steaming pile of Dooley. And yet you would still argue for Kiffin over Butch.

yeah, because there was so much talent from the '07 team on that '09 team. Unbelievable. And you can't compare year one of Kiffin to year two of Jones. But go ahead and make ridiculous comparisons. Just like you can't expect a team slashed with NCAA penalties and scholarship deductions to be title contenders. But let's not get facts in the way of good ole fashioned hate.

He has single handedly brought Bama down. He is a program killer.

Dang. You may wanna slow your roll a bit ... it's Twitter.

What if I told you lane kiffin left Tenn went to USC got fired in an eloborate plot just to destroy Alabama #lanekiffin

Maybe he is still on our side?

also, the Alabama had 214 yards of offense in the first half against Ole Miss. it was 17-10 game. Again, let's keep facts out of ole fashioned hate though.

You keep daydreaming about Lane. He ain't coming back. And I'll say it again. I'm glad of it.

Nobody expected USC to be contenders. But he couldn't even be competitive in that last season. Plus, he had players changing numbers, the original deflategate, etc. to embarrass Haden to the point he had to make a change.

And I'll still argue that Kiffin came into a much better (albeit not perfect) situation than Butch.

LOL. Just keep throwing stuff out there. Eventually something might stick. Too bad nothing has yet.

I don't see where 10 points at the half is all that great. And 17 after three quarters.

Again, they scored a lot of points after the game was out of hand. Great moral victory for Lane. Hooray.

Why do you continue to defend the guy that most of the Volunteer fan base hate? It's almost as if you wish he was still our offensive coordinator. Not being a douche but I just don't get it???

Kiffin was a whopping 10-8 over his last two seasons at USC, and fired 5 games into his last season.

5-15 with Oakland. Also didn't make it through his last season without being fired.

7-6 with Tennessee

Yep, if he isn't the second coming Bear Robert Lombardi, I don't know who is.
