I think the only one that truly knows what Luc is going to do is Luc himself. I sure hope he ends up here though. The Linebacker corps needs a beast for the future

Rex, with all due and sincere respect, a "rumor" that has a freshman who is not playing jumping to the NFL.....well we might as well publish every piece of garbage that gets spewed...

Not to pile on here, but the rumors about Nuke have been going on ever since he posted that one thing about questioning his decision on facebook and have taken on a life of their own. Everyone knows Kiffin isn't going to promise playing time to a prospect. They have to earn it.

Still, don't be surprised if there isn't something to the Dunkley/Nuke thing. I'll have more on it in my blog post. (not a whole lot more -- don't get excited) And don't be shocked to see Nuke transfer out after the season either. USF being the most likely destination.

Guys it's ok to hear the opinions and rumors of people from other teams. When we are right and they are wrong, we can just laugh and say "I told you so." Thanks OP for the info reguardless of what others think of it.

You have to EARN playing time. I'm sure the coaches probably told him he would be great, but I'm also sure they didn't put a timeline on his development. He's had pleanty of opportunities to make plays on ST and didn't produce; almost made some huge mistakes. I hope Nuke stays and lets this play out, but even if he decides to leave I'm sure we won't have trouble filling the void.

Seriously guys. When I was an 18 year old Marine 6 months in the fleet I thought I'd made the worst decision of my life. Kids find out life is a series of levels where you work your way to the top at one only to move to the bottom of the next. Homesickness and an inflated ego are overcome more times than not. He'll be fine regardless of what he decides to do and so will UT. I have disavowed any "friends" that are UF fans for this very reason BTW.

Bryce Brown, David Oku, Janzen Jackson, Marsalis Teague... Yeah, there's a lot of disaffected freshmen on this team.

Any freshman upset with his lack of PT has only himself to blame; and IF there are any at UT upset, they know where the effing door is.

This Gate's post is rife with wishful thinking.

I am going to love watching Kiff eat their lunch in February.

I have heard similar rumors regarding Nuke. The problem was that at UF he was only guaranteed a spot to compete at WR, while UT made him promises that he would start and get far more playing time. The problem with that is he hasn't earned it nor does he deserve it but he was promised it. It is a terrible recruiting pitch to promise kids playing time, just promise them they will see the field if they are the best player, but this staff in this last class did not do that. There is even talk down in Pahokee where UT is not well liked that they don't want there kids going there and this certainly won't help.

Also there is another rumor swirling that Teague is also not happy with his playing time and what he was promise when he switched his commitment. This is coming from a mod for a Gator site with excellent connections so I believe there has to be at least some truth to it.

On Dunkley, it seems like he really enjoys the whole recruiting process and like a typical WR just wants to be loved and get attention. He was always taking the trip to Bama this weekend so I don't see why that's news to anyone. I would be surprised if he didn't end up at UF.

On to Luc now. This kid might know how to play the recruiting game better then anyone. I think there have been rumors now that he has silently committed to at least 3 different schools now after visiting them. I believe this one is going to go down in early december if he enrolls early. He will make his decision after the UF FSU game in my opinion. It is going to come down to UF or UT and I would be shocked if it wasn't one of those 2 schools. UT has the lead now but if we get him to come for the FSU game, then we have a shot. If not, then I presume it's over and for sure he's going to UT. His timing of his announcement is all predicated on him enrolling early.
