No, madbama, most of us realize last year was last year. That Palardy has gotten some real coaching now and like his coach told him and his teammates, "Everybody starts with a clean slate." Some of us understand that under the circumstances, FIRST have faith in the coaches ability to coach and SECOND give our players the benefit of doubt. Then during games if they continue to exhibit incompetence, bench them and after the season release them if it appears they can't be coached to at least rudimentary competence. Most of us realize that having such hate toward a player to embarrass him on TV by rushing the field like idiots and demanding he be dumped just marks UT fans look like stupid hicks. Which too many people after watching the Kiffin thing and our reaction, serves to justify their misconception. Most of us realize if we rushed the field as you suggest, some moronic rectal cavities can be guaranteed to use the opportunity to physically attack Palardy and put the university to everlasting shame and likely have the NCAA to penalize us so harshly we'd have to forgo even having a football team. Not to mention a lawsuit that would destroy the university financially for decades to come. Most of us realize we should trust the coaches to handle under-performing players the way they should be and be professional about it. Not all of us understand this but I believe most of us do. You're free to join us if you wish.

I feel sorry for your wife if she doesn't get dinner done. You'll be demanding a better wife when that happens. Great kickers don't pop up like used condom wrappers. They are almost accidents.

The OP must be really, really sucessful in his profession to demand this level of performance from a teenager.

Palardy was 9 of 11 inside the 40 and 9 of 12 overall. Sure he struggles getting height on his kicks we all know that but he isn't nearly as bad as some think. Palardy needs our full support anything less will only add more pressure on him. He is a VFL afterall.............

This is the problem. Hardly anybody gives a she-it on here about the kicking game, or even many other aspects of football. Neyland would not be proud of them.

This Saturday at orange and white game if Palardy does one or more of the three: misses field goal, misses extra point, or kicks the ball out of bounds on a kick off. Don't wait! Don't hesitate! Remove him promptly! Demand with force that someone in the crowd come to field for try outs.
