Why'd it take so long though? Last week Maria tweeted out it was Harper and Raoul who's well connected with women's recruiting said it was Harper's if she wanted the job. Seems like Harper name was solidified after her team upset ISU.

Hire Balcomb, keep Reeves, get a 3rd assistant.

Hubby can stay home and watch the kids. The hubby/wifey thing on the sidelines actually is one of the things that has me worried the most. It works for the Weeklys but softball isn't basketball. And this is TN not Missouri State.

Yeah, she has to surround herself with all new assistants. Can't be hiring the significant other just because. There's no co head coaching in basketball. I also didn't know he's been on her staff ever since she started coaching. He's been the associate head coach. Hope she doesn't try and add Gordon to her staff because she a LVFL. Also, hope Reeves throws her name out for an assistant position she's proven herself as an ace recruiter.

Watched a lot of their games when possible and did not ever see a problem. As most men know what the woman says is the gospel especially when she is your boss and your boss! Don't see that to be a problem at all myself. I guess if you want you could go to MO State board if she is announced and see if they ever had a problem noticeable!

I hope she decides to hire an older former HC to give her feedback. Pat had older ex HC's on her staff over the years for this reason and it worked for her. I wish Mickie DeMoss could be brought in for this as she has been a HC at Florida and KY and would be a perfect mentor for her stepping onto the Big stage again. Reaves is a priority hire for her IMHO.

Now to say the difficult thing I have heard said many times by some former players and just everyday fans. The last few years has been a non stop funeral and remembrance service and it is time to move on. Never forget Pat but it is time to turn the page and move on. I think KJJH has been far enough removed to be able to do this without appearing to be coarse about it and allow the entire BO LV fanbase to go to the next stage of the grieving process.

Again I think this hire does invigorate the fanbase . You do not know who turned us down so it is what it is, assuming it is Kellie. Hell Holly had plenty of time to tear it down it will take some time to rebuild. Nobody said she is perfect so don't expect her to be. She knows a heck of a lot more than most of us yahoos about the LV tradition and expectations
