I could see Nick Saban retiring when Ole Miss beats Alabama knocking them out of the SECCG and the Playoffs. I could see Nick Saban contemplating retirement between the Auburn game and Alabama's Bowl Game.I bet Saban retires within the next 12 months. I think in some measure he has lost interest in coaching the game. His baby is the defense and they look horrible this year. Is this not the most undisciplined team he’s had in his life? What say you?
Doesn’t look healthy to me. I think next year is his last.I bet Saban retires within the next 12 months. I think in some measure he has lost interest in coaching the game. Saban looked more tired than I have ever seen him in his post game. Realize too it‘s not just Heupel that has beaten him now, but Kirby and Jimbo have both beaten him over the past 12 monthsI don't think he'll get beat out of the game (won't leave because he loses a few games). He'll leave on his terms. I suspect he'll coach several more years health allowing. Football is his life.
He's 70. That has more to do with his retirement decision than loss of interest or even one "bad" year.I bet Saban retires within the next 12 months. The guy succeeding him will have his problems like Ray Perkins did at Alabama and Doug Barfield did at Auburn.
