Saban retirement soon

I bet Saban retires within the next 12 months. I think in some measure he has lost interest in coaching the game. His baby is the defense and they look horrible this year. Is this not the most undisciplined team he’s had in his life? What say you?
I could see Nick Saban retiring when Ole Miss beats Alabama knocking them out of the SECCG and the Playoffs. I could see Nick Saban contemplating retirement between the Auburn game and Alabama's Bowl Game.

Doesn’t look healthy to me. I think next year is his last.

I don't think he'll get beat out of the game (won't leave because he loses a few games). He'll leave on his terms. I suspect he'll coach several more years health allowing. Football is his life.
Saban looked more tired than I have ever seen him in his post game. Realize too it‘s not just Heupel that has beaten him now, but Kirby and Jimbo have both beaten him over the past 12 months

Who’s his next heisman candidate after this year? No one on the roster. The NIL is spreading talent around just enough that it’s not an automatic playoff berth.

Saban will retire after a national championship win and I think he will keep going for several years. They are still a top team in the country and still very much in the national championship hunt. This is delusional talk

Not to mention they don't have a verified replacement. half a decade ago they had a potential with Dabo (big rumor mill) but he's not going anywhere from Clemson. Who would they even replace him with? I would NOT want to be the guy that inherits that program after Saban.

The Ole Miss game is coming up. If he keeps having temper tantrum‘s on the sideline it may not be long.
Asking Saban to avoidi tantrums is like adking a tiger to lose jis stripes. Its just part of who he is, a hyper perfectionist who cant accept any imperfections gracefully.

He's 70. That has more to do with his retirement decision than loss of interest or even one "bad" year.

The guy succeeding him will have his problems like Ray Perkins did at Alabama and Doug Barfield did at Auburn.

^^^This. I’ve been telling Bama fans, and they know it’s coming, that after Saban, Bama will cycle down. How far down remains to be seen. It will be very difficult for the next guy to do what Saban has done in college football. Hopefully that means 20 straight wins for the Vols over Bama.
