It's his home he is there way more than you think lately, especially in Morgantown. This has way more validity than "GRUMORS" he wants nothing more than to go back home, he went out with governor yesterday and then morgantown, this isn't a paid position, saban is still literally at Bama "coaching"
there is nothing more valid than grumors. Take it back.

It has more credit than cheerleader wife and a plane ride that resulted in a thread with 500 pages of replies
He was just seen meeting with AD Wren Baker I mean he grew up a diehard wvu fan and was an assistant there already before it's not some mathematically impossible reach I can't read his mind on how he wants to live the rest of his life but his entire family lives there. Nick saban and his hs wr Tom Hulderman who lives there, saban nicknames him "brother", and also manchin, the senator, are very very close, the former his seriously best friend of 55 years. He's obviously also friends with pat McAfee who is the biggest wvu donor

He wanted nothing more in life than to be qb of wvu and he wasn't selected due to being small and under weight. His only team he wanted to play for. Saban was offered the Alabama job because fellow West Virginia native Rich Rodriguez had turned it down to remain head football coach at West Virginia University.

Did he ever say this about Bama or LSU or kent state?
“I’m a Mountaineer at heart and I’m all for the Mountaineers and I always root for the Mountaineers." Again he grew up a MFL going to every Backyard Brawl

He probably rooted for WVU when he coached Bama against them it was the 2nd closest win they had that yr, if not he absolutely coached them to easy off as much as possibly without losing, literally played it at the Georgia Dome. Nick Saban Sr. Memorial Field was there a long time
This is the exact same thing as Grumors tho. Like no different. Just a different twist to the recipe. “Man with local ties, who has a high coaching reputation will come save the program.”

It also implies he would be willing to serve under a coach he would likely feel more intelligent than.

I think the idea of Nick Saban being an ASSISTANT coach is about the same alignment as the Grumors.

He may be there giving advice and talking, but he will never take an official roll there. I guarantee that. I’ll delete my account if I am wrong brother.

You’re setting yourself up for disappointment if you think this is actually happening

Nick Saban and Bob Huggins and Jerry West and Don Knotts are the heads on West Virginia's alumni edition of Mount Rushmore.

Army at #25 is tough. It's where they realistically belong, but this makes it increasingly clear that you're not getting more than one G5 in the playoff this season which heavily benefits Tennessee (Army is not beating Notre Dame, and if they do Notre Dame is out).

Reminds me of Bear Bryant saying "momma called". Except it's Saban. He's already got all the money in the world and he's making AFLAC commercials. My gut tells me he's still chasing a buck for the time being, wherever that may be.
