So, just to clarify: if Bama doesn't certain penalties, it's because the refs are missing them (whether intentionally or by accident), but if Bama's opponents are called for even fewer penalties, it's because there aren't any penalties to call? Nice.

Well, we are talking one year. So, what are the numbers for the last 10?

Also, when Bama takes a double digit lead, less penalties will be called. I am not going to spend the time to break it all down, but the data numbers are out there. The numbers were from a few years back, so last year wasn't included.

It's ok. You should enjoy getting most of the calls.

You wouldn't want to wear yourself out with that type of exhaustive research, best just to settle in with I feel, therefore I am, approach to life.

Just be most thankful that Bama called off the dogs after they put 49 on your head with the 4th quarter to go.

It could be that the NCAA, and by extension the refs, favor Bama. It could also be that Saban's staff is dirty. But at least give some thought to the idea that the Bama Athletic Department has been really well run the past 15 years and had the ability to get the best head coach available who then put together what really is the best staff in America.
But it could make you uncomfortable to think this is true considering the ineptitude exhibited by the Tennessee Athletic Department the past 15 years, so ya, lets go with Saban cheats and gets away with it.

Not arguing he is a great, the best, coach. just saying he and by extension Alabama get treated with kit gloves. what makes it worse is they don't need the BS calls or no calls.

Interestingly enough, 2009 was the last time that UT was called for more penalties when playing Bama. They were both called for 5 in 2010, but Bama had more penalty yards. For the past six meetings, Bama has more of both penalties and penalty yards.

Kinda neat.

BS calls at the end to make it look fair, after holding, and pass interference are ignored the entire game.

And I'm sure UT's patchwork O-line was able to hold Bama without a sack after the third possession of the game by playing sound, fundamental football.

Your need to come on a UT board and defend everything bama is sad, bordering on pathetic.
