People have no right to dictate what someone else does with their own money.... unless you work for the IRS.

News that Nick Saban's charity has given 50,000.00 to
help tornado relief in Tuscaloosa is coming under fire.

Saban gave less than 1% of his annual salary to help the
same people that have helped pay toward his salary.

His 50 thousand dollar donation is .08% of his 5.9 million
dollar annual salary. To give 1% he would have had to give
59 thousand. They can't buy a mobile home for that down
there.

What do you think?

Who cares. Its his money and he can spend it how ever he wants. He doesn't get paid to do charity work.

Uncle Sam rips off just about everyone who makes more that 250K a year.

That would be a nice problem to have. I don't see many people turning down 250k jobs, because of the taxes being too high. If so, I know a lot of people that would trade places with them. Just saying. Not trying to start anything.

Maybe he already gives a tenth or more to some other charity or church or something.

I'm sure he donates to other charities as well.

He started a scholarship for students who were the first in their family to attend college his first year at UA. He has given 100 thousand to this each year he has been there. Last year there was an article about all the money he earned for getting named coach of the year, sec champ. and NC, he gave this to Nick's Kids. Also an article about one of his best friends who was undergoing cancer treatment. He had him flown to UAB for treatment and covered his all his hospital bills.

What I think is anyone as insensitive as you, should spend a few weeks touring the devastation a tornado can cause and pray you never experience one, and if you do hope that someone will donate money and time to help you sorry self.

Funny how people who don't give always have an opinion of those whom they feel gave to little........hmmmmm

100% none of ours, yours or anybodies business really.

He doesn't have to gave anything if he doesn't want to. It's none of my business really.

the people who become really successful definitely owe something to the system that made it all possible.

He spent $50,000 repairing his detached garage.

Kind of like when St. Judes or Vanderbilt sends you mail saying "donate to help children who can't afford healthcare" meaning kids that owe them money for services already provided that they are getting ready to write as a loss.

Hey it's money toward the cause...

Why on earth would you fabricate something like this? Sad

Dangerous thinking there. A person shouldn't owe anything to anybody but himself unless he chooses to. The next step is to take from the productive of society and give it to the unproductive so it's all fair. I gve to charities because I choose to, not becase I owe it to anyone.
