Living in Kentucky, I know much more about Kentucky football than I should.

They have improved on offense, and Woodson looks surprisingly good.

I just don't think the Cats have the guns.

In looking at the 22 man roster, I don't see a single player that has an advantage over a single Volunteer on a UT team that has some well-documented weaknesses. The most likely candidates are Burton and Little, and Micah Johnson has the chance to be a very good player in a couple of years, but at this point, I would rather have our receivers, our backs, and our linebackers.

Kentucky has improved, to the point where they out-lasted the OOC patsies on the schedule, the 3 teams with losing records in the SEC, and pulled the upset against a .500 Georgia team. I just don't see where they are ready to step up and challenge the big boys.

Fair enough. :)

I would submit that UK's skill players are as good as any in the SEC. Where the battle is lost is their strength and depth in the trenches- which is where most games are won and lost.

My hats off to KY for the season they have had. 7 wins and a bowl game for them is as exciting as us getting into the NCAA tourney. Good job Cats, and hope you win your bowl game. An 8 win season is nothing to sneeze at. Hell, we would have loved to gotten 8 last year. That being said, hope you play terrible today!
