that ESPN was talking about Tennessee and North Carolina being in the field for the NIT Tip Off. Won't happen next year. The Heels are in the field for the Puero Rico tournament next year.

So what? Is it Tony's fault ESPN said that? Most Vols fans and coaches don't study up on UNC's schedule for next season when this one just started. Why do you? :no:

Good to see the Pearl Defense Choir has become paranoid. Just passing along information. Some of us realize college basketball exists outside Knoxville.

Funny how some automatically believe that information regarding scheduling is an attack on the coaching staff or....anything. Any chance TN gets into the Puerto Rico tourney with UNC or is the field already closed?

So you just start these threads to act superior. It's not working. Don't pretend I'm paranoid to think you have an 'anti-UT B-Ball Coach' agenda here. You show it on every thread. Are you saying that wasn't yet another smarmy 'told-you-so' comment by you?:eek:k:
CBB exists outside of Knoxville? So that's who we were playing those last two games. Durrr. Why don't you 'exist outside of' Volnation in regards to The Basketball Vols. Nobody needs a parade cloud.

We're eligible, so I would think so. They normally announce the next year's fields for the really elite events during the previous year's semis, so we should see next week.

I'm just sick of hater hat. The Vols are scoring in the 100's so he digs out some obscure thing an ASST COACH says to criticize? What kind of UT fan is that? Tony Jones comes on the Bassillio show once a week to give updates on UT BB. I remember hearing him talking about the NIT tourney next year and playing in Madison Square Garden. It was quite some time ago. I think I remember him saying the possibility of NC in the tourney. Maybe NC schedule wasn't firm at the time he mentioned it. We did the NIT with NC 3 years ago. I would take it again, but I'd rather see a home / away with them instead. Bring NC to TBA.

My gosh man. He offered information about our schedule. If you don't want to hear it, save the rest of us some time and ignore him. It isn't that hard.

Just because you didn't 'get' that it was a dig at Tony Jones doesn't mean that it wasn't. He even confirms it above.

I'm not sure how saying that he saw an article about Tony Jones saying we might be in a pre-season tourney with UNC in the future would be considered criticism. Why not just be quiet now and not embarrass yourself further?
