The left are all scum. They don’t care one damn bit about this innocent kid or the innocent kids killed almost daily in large crime infested cities. But don’t let the cops kill a thug black guy, the whole country goes crazyI need to stop reading this thread. Responses like this make me sick to my stomach. How can you be so dismissive of a 5yo child being killed?
Are you this stupid or are you just getting back into practice on making racial smears now that Kamala is on the ticket?
It looks like an attempt to highlight an obvious double standard regarding what gets over indexed media coverage.
Wow. I'm honestly at a loss on how dismissive you are at the death of a five year old. I'm not sure I can properly express the contempt that I feel for you right now into words. This isn't about politics or racism or anything more than a 5yo child was needlessly, violently taken from this world. How can anyone not be outraged, saddened, confused, hurt by this? A 5yo child??!! It makes me feel physically ill thinking about it. And you make such a cold, callous remark? I pity you. Seriously, I do. If you can be this dismissive of a child being killed, something is broken inside of you.
Oh Captain Moral Equivalence, please drop the faux outrage and keep up with the argument. We're talking about media coverage of the murder, not the murder itself. The view advanced was that this was not being covered by MSM because of the race of the shooter and the race of the child. That was always a false premise, as AP and US News covered it early on. Now other media outlets, such as CNN, are also reporting on it. Hundreds of kids a year are murdered. Do you think they should all immediately be the lead story on CNN?
AP and US News buried it in the US NEWS "North Carolina News" section. 6 sentences that didn't mention race or motive. Get off on that as MSM coverage matching any of the other riot provoking incidents. Other media outlets are "reporting" on it in their own "sanitized" way because it was brought to their attention that they were ignoring the story, long after the incident occurred and had been reported elsewhere. I guess they didn't mind getting scooped since it didn't quite fit an agenda.Oh Captain Moral Equivalence, please drop the faux outrage and keep up with the argument. More so than the couple from St Louis. Remember them? They were THE story for days. And what did they do? Nothing at all really. No one injured. No one shot.Oh Captain Moral Equivalence, please drop the faux outrage and keep up with the argument. We're talking about media coverage of the murder, not the murder itself. If you don't know the killer's motivation is it wrong to assume it was racially motivated?
And when did FOX first report it?

I just wanted confirmation that that was Fox's first mention. This information is on this very same page, luther:
Nice try at deflection luther. Look at the difference in coverage.I just wanted confirmation that that was Fox's first mention.
So why did Fox wait 3 days? Were they politically motivated to bury the story for 3 days? Local news stations were covering it the night that it happened. What took Fox so long?
How much worse than 3 days is 4 days?
Evidently the kid's father had the shooter over for dinner a day or two before. Doesn't immediately scream racism, does it? Evidently the father and the shooter have extensive criminal histories. If I had to put money on anything, I'd guess it's a dispute about drugs.
I thought the issue was over the timing. Is the issue now over how it's being covered?Nice try at deflection luther. Look at the difference in coverage.
This is on Fox right now:
North Carolina boy Cannon Hinnant, 5, laid to rest after senseless murder: You 'can't imagine what it's like'
