Still looking good for Vols, even with the delayed announcement?
Pushback against pressure, to get some breathing room? I didn't see a need to announce that, either, which is why I wondered if he really intended to say that he was delaying his commitment.
how ironic is it that the top three players in sc are also 300, 301 and 302 overall
Thanks for the info. He sounds like a good kid1. There will be no announcement this weekend. uga coaches asked him not to get caught up in the historic recruiting run that Tennessee has been on in the last few weeks. The thinking in Athens is if they get him past this wave of commitments that he will be a near lock to commit to uga.
2. Tyrion really likes CJP and the UT coaching staff and our staff knows that are not going to back down one bit and if anything this will make them put on even more of a full-court press for his services. I let Tyrion know myself that since he was originally going to commit to UT this Sunday that it is okay to wait if he thinks he needs more time because Tennessee will still be there when he is 100% ready to commit and there is no rush. I’d rather him commit to stay than commit and then de-commit.
3. He legitimately doesn’t want to hurt any coaches feelings that lose out on his services.
“My mind was kind of made up earlier,” Ingram-Dawkins said. “I’m all in, I’m going to commit. Then all these coaches hit me up and started filling my head up and taking to me about good things. I’m really not sure, still thinking about it and trying to make sure I’m making the right decision”
Pulled from Wiltfongs article, said to watch the Vols here.
Just let him know that no matter how nice he may pretend to be, Kirby Smart is a schmuck.1. Despite their recent success (at least in the regular season) UGA still cant simply promote/sell their own brand. Constantly getting in kids heads about other schools and what not. That says a lot. What a garbage ass program man. I hate them so much.
