it was great, said robinson, whos ranked by 247sports as the no. 1,067 overall prospect and no. 80 running back in the 2019 class. it was most definitely a family feel, and what theyre building the whole team around is family. I like that a lot. Thats my main thing for when i choose my school, is having a family feel.
the family feel is what really stands out to me. Everybody has facilities and stuff like that. And, of course, being in the sec, thats great. But, really, what caught me was the family feel, out of the whole thing.
coach pruitt said i am a priority for him, and he said he just wanted to let me know that im family and they need me, and how i can be a part of this dynasty that theyre about to create, robinson said. and im perfect for their system. They want big, physical backs, and he said i can fulfill that. actually, i really didnt know too much about him (before the visit). But first impression was great. He was just humble and just a nice guy. He had a warm welcome.
robinson said his aunt and uncle accompanied him on the trip to tennessee, and they loved it," too. "my uncle, hes a big gamecock fan, and he said that they have just won him over, robinson said. he said hes with the orange and white now not garnet and black.
he said he most definitely is going back to a game at tennessee this season. But he expects to return to knoxville before then. they want me to come to a (summer) camp so they can work with me, so i can see how they coach and they can see me actually move and do different drills and show them what i can do in person, robinson said.
South carolina, north carolina, wake forest, middle tennessee and air force are among the other schools showing interest in robinson, he said. Offers are "starting to come because of his strong showing last month at the carolina xposure camp, he said, and he previously flew a bit under the radar because he split carries as a junior. we used all three backs, and i had a senior in front of me, robinson said. With offers now starting to roll in, he said hes hoping to decide on a college by "maybe the end of the summer or beginning of the season.
