Braylon Staley has an impressive 200 meter time, but an unimpressive 100 meter time of 11.1 or 11.2. I’ve searched unsuccessfully , on line, for his 40 time. Has anyone seen any legit 40 yard dash times for him?
He's a speed builder. Becoming more explosive in your takeoff can be fixed in the S&C program. That deceptive long speed that he has is more of a God given attribute. A corner might think he's right with him on a deep route, but when the ball gets there, he's 2 steps behind him.I haven’t seen any footage on his 100m but it could be he just isn’t good at coming out of the blocks. That can really hurt someone’s time in the 100m. His 200m proves he has speed. Also like that he is a triple jumper.

If he's winning state in the triple jump and 200m with a mediocre track coach it's even more impressive. He sounds like a kid that comes out of the curve like a slingshot and turns on the burners.I agree. Him being a triple jumper tells me he has explosion. He just needs the proper S&C as you stated. I was really commenting mostly on the 100m time and how a poor start out of the blocks could give the impression he’s not as fast. Thinking it could be a technique thing. I also don’t know much about his schools track team and where they excel.
My sentiments exactly! His 400m time I saw were pretty impressive too considering it doesn’t look like it’s a race he was seriously training for from what I can tell. I look forward to seeing how CJH will scheme for him.If he's winning state in the triple jump and 200m with a mediocre track coach it's even more impressive.
