I guess put color by numbers style

You have around 7-8 times per game at least where you punt or kickoff.

If you take kids that are big & fast you can gain 10-20 “extra” yards per kick. Because of their size and speed.

So let’s say a average of 15 yards gained yardage per kick.

7 times 15 = 105 extra yards per game.
105 extra yards of field position in a game should net you 10 more points in the game.

Now 10 extra points mean more wins.

It’s pretty simple but most don’t understand this.

Pruitt does, and why he jumped Calloway tail every time he let it bounce on punt return

Hope this helped

Funny

Yea most fans are just happy to get the ball back on a kick or just glad it’s not returned for a touchdown if your team is kicking.

Football has a lot of things that most just don’t take into account that have massive effects on the outcome of games & even seasons.

looking like this kid will commit any day. Kid can ball for sure. Very good find by the staff. At worst he has speed & physical enough to make a impact on special teams at the VERY least.

And this is how you get to the top of college football. Having 2 stars that run a 4.3.

Speed, speed, size, and speed.

Loving what Pruitt is building

So please tell me how many 2*s Bama, UGA, Clemson and OSU have that actually contribute.

@BigOrangeTrain

With just a quick search I see Irv Smith Jr

ALABAMA’s STARTING TIGHT END!!!!

Was a two star when he committed to Bama and got a bump to a 3 star.

Same with their best defensive lineman this year in Williams

😂😂😂
Gotta give you credit for coming back with a good example. Haha. And I think he's declared early for the draft too.

Hunter Renfro had ZERO stars coming out of HS, and his biggest offer besides Clemson was App St...after that, it was Gardner Webb, Presbyterian, and Wofford.

Same high school as well as Renfrow. "The Beach" has some hidden talent. The area is almost like it is a hidden island. More of a soccer area than a football area but has some good football talent. Kid that played qb at Notre Dame in their last bcs championship was from myrtle beach. Socastee, Conway, and Myrtle has quite a few kids playing at the D1 level. And it will continue to grow with the rapid growth of the grand strand.

I didn't think high school was invented before renfro got to Clemson.

Our high school, Socastee, has been terrible at football except for a few seasons. In the mid 90's we had a player named Randy Sinclar that was amazing. Recruited by everyone and went to uscjr. Amounted to very little. Then again we were good when Hunter Renfrow was our QB. Ran an option offense. Now are soccer teams have always been very very good. Go Braves!

But they have guys that win conference titles.

And we are recruiting against James Madison and Kent St.

Harrison, Crouch, Tank, Wanya, Keyton, Sampley were never threats to sign with James Madison or Kent St.

Tennessee wanted all of them and got them. And now they want Solomon. 6 ft with 4.3 speed ain't nothing to sneeze at...

Levi Wallace was a 2 star walk on from Tucson who started and contributed.

Hunter Renfrow at Clemson as well.

Trust Pruitt and his staff on the evals and development until they give us a reason not to.

We need speed at the WR position.
