'20 SC WR Jalin Hyatt (UT SIGNEE)

Four-star Tennessee wide receiver signee Jalin Hyatt of Irmo, S.C., is scheduled to take his official visit to Knoxville this weekend.

Hyatt didn’t get a chance to take his official visit before signing with the Vols last month because of his team’s run to another state championship, which left him without an open weekend in November and December.

I’d be surprised if he’s above 180lb right now, but i don’t care. That stride looks eerily similar to a Moss. Good comparison. We could only hope for half that level of production on the field. Can’t wait to watch all this speeeeeeeeed!!

Tony B said 139 lbs. Reportedly he will have to lift weights during class to catch up.

Probably about 165. I believe his size and speed is a comparable to DeVonta Smith.

His weight is a real problem for evaluators imo. Makes him more questionable as an “instant impact” guy. I think he’s a steal - 5 star after a year of Fitz and meal plan - but the hesitation makes sense.
Not an attack on you, but that didn't deter them on Arian Smith (listed 6lbs heavier and 1'' taller than Hyatt). A couple double quarter pounders and Hyatt is a borderline 5*.

Good point! I’m just saying I see the argument against a 5th star considering he doesn’t have the Arik Gilbert/George Pickens/Rakim Jarrett SEC-ready body. Arian’s case does damage that excuse, to a degree.
