'24 SC WR Mazeo Bennett (uscjr)

This makes ZERO sense.

You choose to decommit the very night a University of Tennessee WR WINS
THE BEST WR IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL award
and he's from YOUR home state????? o_O
What the hell is wrong with that kid!??

Oh lord what a dumb boy...
You know Beamer was working the phones all week pushing for him to do this tonight an hour before this award drops hoping to get a double whammy and rub it in our faces.

Guess that backfired.

“With the loss of the offensive coordinator, I want to see Tennessee still function at that high level,” Bennett told On3.

Lol

Decommitting is one thing. That’s fine. It happens. But, I don’t understand the need for him to try and act like our offense is now broken after an OC left. Sounds like he is burning bridges on his way out, IMO. I would be shocked if Heupel kept recruiting him hard after that shade.

He won’t have a spot if he waits for next season because we’ll already have a truckload of WR talent committed by then. But he’s 100% going to SC anyway so I doubt he cares

Hyatt wins a prestigious award in yr 2 of Heup and this guy is gonna willingly play in the vaunted Dowell Loggains offense. The man who was voted the worst play caller in the NFL. A lot of kids are just morons.

The timing really is interesting.

Wish the kid well. From what AP said and the article, I feel like he still ends up here and we are fighting off family pressure more than anything. Either way is fine.

Honestly I thought it was a reach to take his commitment so early. We will be in on other bigger wide receivers.

This is such a Carls Jr move…I hope we have 63-38 pasted all over every facility our players frequent over the next year…and I hope Heupal takes this more personal than the Drinkwitz situation this past year…he sure a hell should
We need to treat them like we did that Tanneyhill team back in 93. Make them sorry that win ever happened. No mercy.

Enjoy this massive offensive production…. Lol

The offense produced BEFORE Golesh. It’ll produce AFTER Golesh. Doesn’t take but a quick Google search to understand that.
Bingo.
Heup taught it to Golesh lol I’m sure coaches are negative recruiting any kind of way they can though. I don’t even care. Getting WRs here is the easiest part of it all.
