Wouldn't it have been better if a German citizen popped Adolph in the 1920s?

Many conservatives FEAR a civil war being waged against themselves. I am unaware of any serious conservative calling to START one

Comparing one of the two major American political party's to the Nazi's, or comparing any modern day American politician to Adolf Hitler, Joseph Goebbels or Heinrich Himmler is a combination of hyperbolic immaturity, and intellectual laziness. It reveals a person who lacks both the knowledge necessary to draw upon more historically appropriate comparisons, and the desire to take the short amount of time required to learn such comparisons.

They are doing what boring, ignorant and lazy people are usually good at doing :

Defaulting to the worst known example of what they're describing, and making token comparisons of it, with the object of their criticism. In this case, it is trying to criticize the other side of the aisle for something far less significant than starting a World War and gassing millions of people with Zyklon B.

I'm well aware that too many Democrats are guilty of doing this, and I will admit that until lately, this was a problem exclusive to idiot Democrats. However, Republicans have recently started to play catch-up, thanks to idiots like Donald Trump Jr., Rep. Scott Perry and Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene.
