Depends completely on the chiropractor. Mine does an excellent job. Go about once every two or three months for my lower back and hip. Walk out feeling like a new man.

I have two herniated discs in my lower back. I got an inversion table and it has helped a little. It's not cured but I rarely have days that completely are unbearable anymore. Massaging my upper ass does the trick. Sounds strange but it works.

Been there done that. It HURTS! Get a GOOD chiropractor. I prefer the old school type that use drop tables and still take x-rays. That gave me instant relieve. I required help getting there as I could barely stand.

Also, sleep on supportive mattress with pillow between knees.

Walking helps a lot once chiropractor does his adjustment. Drink lots of water too.

I had a ruptured disk that was pinching my sciatic nerve and went almost 2 months before it was diagnosed properly and i was able to have surgery. I switched doctors. That was the worst 2 months if my life. There was no comfortable position, no pill to ease it, slept about 2 hours a night.

Why no surgery? It is relatively simple and non invasive surgery with a quick recovery time. I was walking 3 hours after surgery, back to work in 2 months.

I personally had severe issues with that nerve and tried everything but nothing worked. My last ditch effort was acupuncture. I went in and told the guy if your just taking my money tell me now cuz I'm in real pain and don't handle being taken advantage of well. Long story short it took one visit which he said could take a couple however I never had trouble with it again

Go to earthclinic.com and look up sciatica. You'll find lots of personal reviews of different remedies. Good luck.

For those who haven't had a kidney stone, I've had 30 or so in my 65 years. I've also had sciatica. Sciatica isn't even close on the pain scale.

I have a lot of sciatic pain due to arthritis,if the heat isn't helping, try icing it down and the pillows between the legs is a good idea,i do that every night now, prop your self up with some pillows,if you like to roll around at night or try them under your knees,I think that is what it wanted if you sleep on your back

a soak in a tub of hot water may help,if you can get up and down

and some serious pain meds help the most and look on the bright side,it is just pinched,so it should go away and not be a permanent thing

oh and what ever you did to pinch it,don't do it again lol

Well after about 4 days of total hell its pretty much healed all up. Wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Good news. Make sure you are working your core muscles while you feel good. Also do squats and hip strengthening exercises to help prevent future problems.
