I'm willing to bet my next pay check he is making more money than you.
im sure he is making more than you and me combined but thats besides the point. i didnt say he wasnt making money because he is it just isnt the first roun money he was guaranteed to get, thats all i was saying.
as others have said the lifestyle he is living is still better than most of us on here will ever experience im not bashing him. i was just reflecting on how he really thought he was a first round pick and that that was incredibly wrong. its really sad because he had the talent just never was really able to get things going, i liked scotty and i hope one day to see him in the nba.

We have some of the worst "fans"....
...We'd be ridiculously good had Tobias and Scotty stayed +Jarnell.
Did Scotty ever actually say "I think I can go in the first round?". I don't remember ever seeing that quote. I was under the impression he decided to go ahead and take his chances because the coach who recruited him and he committed to was leaving.
I highly doubt he regrets his decision and I believe that, given time, he will develop and be able to make an NBA squad.
And we have a winner! Most Ridiculous Backtracks of All Time Award goes to:
Bleeding TN Orange!
We'd have been ridiculously good in 02 if Big John, Haynesworth and Stallworth had all stayed. We beat LSU in the 07 title game with Robert Meachem staying in school. Alas, the Wishing Well is always full.

dont forget if aaron craft and josh selby both would have stuck to their commitments and came here. chris jones and kevin ware would be here too, wow now that would be one hell of a team.
Do you really think every NBA team(loosely) passed on him twice because they thought he wasn't "ready" or because they thought he wasn't good enough. What decision could he make other than just to toughen up and learn how to handle the ball could he make?
