For all you recruiting gurus out there...do you think it would help to get a top notch QB squared away ASAP in getting other top offensive recruits? It seems to me after the BB commit and then landing a stud QB it could start a domino effect with some top recruits.

i think Heaps is in the bag, i'm more worried about OL, LBs, and D line

Most of the 21 considering us are OL, DL, WR, and QB. Which are our areas of concern. We got 4 LBs this recruiting class. The lone commitment we have is DL. We are addressing the needs!!!! Kiffin and the staff will not take a four or five star just to get them. They will address the needs, unlike the last coaching staff!!!

How have we gotten where we are today without this kind of critical thought. Stick around please.

I think we stand pretty good on heaps too, based on his comments after his unofficial. I havent seen anything about UW and heaps. Am I missing something? Is there any new news about heaps and UW?

hmmm...i see a lot of OL and DL prospects listed with Tennessee as a possibility....and we know they're going after a top flight qb as well.

suffice to say they will be addressing the pressing areas of need in this class.

Texas has always been that way. All high school players in the state dream of playing for the Horns. Leaving is not an option most of these kids ever consider.

Notre Dame has a similar draw nationally. Many high schoolers dream of the golden dome and nothing else. Years of mediocrity have not diminished the allure for some kids. Why I have no idea. Not a good track record recently of prepping kids for next level, they don't win a whole lot and the level of competition that they face each week is that of a mid conference school.

CLK is trying to build a machine that appeals to kids because of exposure and its ability to prepare you for the next level. IMO the exposure will never be an issue with him at the helm.

Except you know, nothing he's said backed up what you say. He's said things that back up what we say. Plus, when you've barely been here, you don't need to be calling out someone who is in charge of the recruiting forum, who knows the stuff better than 99% of other people on here.
