You deem my post complete garbage, mainly because you have a different opinion. Sorry if you have a tough time dealing with the truth. Exactly my point - you are one of the delusional.
We are certainly not in a "good position" to address the 2 greatest areas of deficiency: QB and OL. And considering the hiring of Monte Kiffin, it is very disappointing that UT hasn't secured any high-profile DTs or LBs. I surmise that the new coaching staff and their respective reputations seem more appealing to the fans than to the undecided student-athletes.
I would love to be psyched about this incoming class. But days and days pass without news of any decent commitments.
Listen to even your own words - "adequately addressed". "Adequate" will not beat Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, or as in the case of last year, Wy-freaking-oming. Listen to your own words - "5th in the SEC". Out of 12 - nothing to brag about. Not to mention 3rd or 4th in the SEC EAST! Out of 6. Listen to your own words - "setting a real good foundation for next year's class". I am not talking about next year. This year's recruiting class will be mediocre.
So, in retrospect, thank you, Saban, for backing up my assertions. Guess it wasn't so much garbage after all.
Face the facts.
