I think Salisbury's statement is pretty much right on. He's destroyed three teams and anytime you have such a drama queen it's bad for the team. I'm going to add Stephen Jackson of the Pacers to this list now also.
I will add that I hope TO's next stops include Baltimore, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, and Houston.
Most of Romo's teammates loved having him on their team. While insane, the guy was all about winning. His Super Bowl rings attest to that fact.I think it's pretty easy to argue against what he said.
TO is loud and abrasive and annoying.
Bill Romanowski broke a teammate's eye socket.
I would rather have TO as a teammate than Randy Moss, Romanowski, Haynesworth, and SLEW (YES a SLEW) of others.
What has TO ever done besides be obnoxious and selfish?
You mean the Bill Polian that drafted noted egomaniacs like Thurman Thomas and Cornelius Bennett and traded for a prima donna like James Lofton?Well I can gurantee you that TO will NEVER be a Colt. Bill Polian wouldn't give him the time of day. The Ravens already tried to get him but that didn't work out too well either. He's be great in Oakland with Randy Moss..lol
Of all the things written on this board, that may be the most ridiculous sentence of all. TO is a better teammate than a guy who has twice rehabbed his way back from major knee injuries, is beloved by his teammates, and has a Super Bowl ring. That concept would be funny if it weren't so galactically stupid. He's not a good teammate, don't get me wrong. However, he's a better teammate than Jamal Lewis, along with the names I mentioned earlier.

Once they have enough money, a Super Bowl ring is all that matters to the real players in the league. If it's a good enough standard for them, I have no problem using it. There isn't a single winner in the league who would welcome self serving, never won anything garbage like TO into their locker room. Romo, on the other hand, was enthusiatically welcomed into 3 different winning organizations. Why? Beacause his teammates knew his only agenda was winning. Period. They could give a damn if he spit in JJ Stokes' face or busted some benchwarming TE's face. The League is a violent, Darwinistic place. TO, on the other hand has always been a guy concerned only about the glory of TO. I lost a great deal of respect for Parcells when he didn't send Owens packing for sitting out training camp with his clitoral injury. The support his teammates showed Jam through his troubles speaks for itself. Almost none of Owens teammates, past or present, bothered to check on him after his "suicide attempt." Probably because most of them could care less if he did turn blue and die.And hat, winning a Super Bowl ring doesn't mean somebody is a great teammate, so I urge you to stop using that as a measuring stick.
Yeah, TO was really working hard in training camp this year. I'm sure his teammates loved sweating in the Texas sun while he wore bicycle helments and nursed his strained vagina.Yes, I would rather have a selfish punk like TO than a guy who mediated a drug deal and was incredibly lazy in 1 offseason. That's STILL teammate stuff. Owens has NEVER done anything outside of being incredibly egotistical that would make him a lousy teammate.
I'm a huge Eagles fan, and I still stand by my assertion that if 1 player can tear a team apart, they were heading for some trouble to begin with.
