Once they have enough money, a Super Bowl ring is all that matters to the real players in the league. If it's a good enough standard for them, I have no problem using it. There isn't a single winner in the league who would welcome self serving, never won anything garbage like TO into their locker room. Romo, on the other hand, was enthusiatically welcomed into 3 different winning organizations. Why? Beacause his teammates knew his only agenda was winning. Period. They could give a damn if he spit in JJ Stokes' face or busted some benchwarming TE's face. The League is a violent, Darwinistic place. TO, on the other hand has always been a guy concerned only about the glory of TO. I lost a great deal of respect for Parcells when he didn't send Owens packing for sitting out training camp with his clitoral injury. The support his teammates showed Jam through his troubles speaks for itself. Almost none of Owens teammates, past or present, bothered to check on him after his "suicide attempt." Probably because most of them could care less if he did turn blue and die.

I sometimes find you stubborn, but I can never stay frustrated with you due to things like the bolded above.

Since when does a sports analyst half to have been an athelete period?

A) What the hell are you talking about? I never said that, nor implied it.

B) Oh my God, learn to spell and make coherent sentences, please.

While TO is a primadonna for sure, a team that gets torn apart by 1 player was destined for trouble to begin with. The media completely plays the TO + drama card for every single second its worth.

He's not a good teammate, don't get me wrong. However, he's a better teammate than Jamal Lewis, along with the names I mentioned earlier.
at some point you have to look at the three teams he's played on, the actions he has displayed, the results for the teams and ask yourself, what was the common deonminator in each case?

i give you Terrell Owens.

the big difference between what TO has done, over and over again, and what the others have done is, he contiually throws his teammates under the bus for what is wrong with the team. He takes no accountability for himself...it's alwasy some one else's fault.

the others you mentioned, besides moss, were all distractions to the team, nothing more.

Moss is at least shutting up in Oakland.

other than him stating that he didn't play hard in an interview. and then justifying his play by the fact that nobody else is trying to play hard either. if that's what you call your offensive captain shutting up, then yeah, he's been a saint.

now, i will give you that he has less off the field issues not relating to football (ie. runningover crossing gaurds) anymore.

I don't think it's sane to be pointing fingers at anybody in Oakland right now. They are legitimately the worst team in the NFL, and the worst NFL squad in a long while.
