Seeding won’t be kind if the rest of the conference doesn’t start picking up their game and winning some.

That is absolutely not true. The SEC has suffered in the past because the conference was weak. There were many teams in the ACC with similar records to the SEC and the ACC got 7 teams in with higher seeding than the 4 the SEC got in. You seem to be a little clueless as to how this works. Gonzaga plays a strong out of conference schedule to make their case. They would never rely on their conference games to make a good seeding in the tournament. That's why they schedule the tough games out of conference.

33-1 gets you a top seed no matter what conference you're in Wichita State Shockers line 1... actually they were undefeated..or maybe not.im old lol...

Are you insinuating that the Lady Vols are going to be 33-1....I would guess not but they should be seeded above a 33-1 Crieghton if that happened. You are missing the whole point of a strong conference and what the seeding does for teams that play strong competition vs those that do not. It is a major factor when they seed the teams. I guess you do not understand that.

No one said anything about "sitting around hoping". The higher the seed the lesser the opponent in the tournament. That increases the chance that your team will advance against lesser teams and be more rested than a team that has to play a team that equals their strength.....again...you don't get it.
