SEC Baseball Tournament Thread

Yeah
Swept Kentucky, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, USC (Holy Cow 15 wins right there)
Win 2 vs Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee
Lost series @A&M, and @Georgia but won the 1st game each time
Then beat, Auburn, Ms St, LSU, and Ole Miss in Hoover.
It is hard to even play all the teams given the schedule and just dumb luck of the Tournament.

I thInk this Vandy team is a much better hitting team than the 2007 team that ran away with the SEC title. The 7-9 hitters are all capable of hitting 400 in any series.

They don’t have a David Price on this team, but who does?

Their Achilles heel is control. They handed Ole Miss half their runs by walking six guys in the first inning. Still, they are so deep in the bullpen that they can just trade out anyone who is struggling.

Oddly, they play Ohio State on Friday, and the 2007 team went into the tournament as the hands down top team in baseball and fell to Michigan on Monday. That UM team was the 2 seed, however. This OSU team finished 7th in the Big 10.

Good luck this weekend, dump UNC out of the tournament and advance.
