SEC Championship College GameDay Guest Picker shows just how...

It’s not real accurate to say I’m harping on it. It’s more like I’m seeing humor in Disney’s choice at the SEC championship game venue and you pretending to know something about tackle football.

I found out about it in this thread. I don’t disagree that it’s Disney continuing with their woke agenda. I would also be amused and commenting if Doug Atkins had bellied up to the bar in your all inclusive (except for old people) establishment.

You're harping on it.

It's time you let us know which prominent male figure in your life cut his peen off. You're way too defensive and way too sensitive about it otherwise. Come on baby, we're a family here.

I would argue your sensitivity on the subject. You're welcome to compare our posting history and see who is obsessed with it and who isn't.

Ok. Do it. You're the only one who is ridiculously defensive of the psychotic freaks. Psychotic. Freaks.

Am I? I think your fixation is a little sad, but mostly hilarious.

Since you love assuming ideological origins, I've got one. You went to a sketchy bunny ranch trying to delaminate your virgin card in your mid 20's. You were mildly wary of the low price but pathos wrestled any notion of it away.

Sounds like you found something under that muddy miniskirt that didn't quite tickle your fancy.

You calling your dad mother is hilarious.

You can do way better than that. I award you a mulligan. Way too rushed and unoriginal. You're thinking of your dad brother mother. I know.

Same as above.

Do better. I believe in you.

That said, the 2nd Dune movie was actually good and the show on HBO (sans Timmy) has been good so far as well. The book is always better than the movie...but they have done a decent job with the material so far IMO. My daughter and I call ole 118lbs Timmy "Chomelette" it rhymes with "omelette"...apparently little teenage girls like him. Probably because he looks just like them.
I've been thrilled with how closely the movies followed the source material until they started deviating Chani's character from the source material the latter half of the 2nd movie. I don't think the canon deviations are from any kind of woke or forced inclusion motive. I think it's because the Chani actress, Zendaya, is as big a celebrity or a bigger celebrity than her co-star. Unfortunately, any continuance with the deviations they've made means the 3rd movie will probably be an abomination.
The HBO show is knocking it out the park so far. It seems HBO, thankfully, has excluded Brian Herbert & Kevin J. Anderson from the creative process and hired their own writers.

As has been stated in this thread many times, the actor being on gameday is just product placement by espn & abc. There is no social or political narrative being forced upon the viewership despite how ridiculous the actor looked in an outfit at a movie premier two years ago.

Glad Disney/ESPN thought of this product placement idea because I would hate for the 15-h Saturday commercial feed to be interrupted by any more football or football personalities than absolutely necessary.

But aren't you glad that they instituted the running clock and all the other rules to 'shorten the game'? I know I am. Now I know how to lower my A1C and that there are numerous different kinds of trucks to buy (in the event I am in the market) and that blue chew stuff that I KNOW will get me large breasted young women.

Thanks NCAA!

He was an actor performing from a script. Nothing more, nothing less. He was prepared. The outrage some have with him being a picker because their echo chamber told them to think otherwise is silly....

Definitely! We need to keep the game moving along so that we can get to the next commercial break.

Lots of pearl clutching in here, gents. I just watched a clip of his segment and he appeared more knowledgeable than a lot of their guest pickers. It was product placement, sure, but at least he knew some football.

"WOKE" ESPN is to the MAX!
AA1vpdjd.img

ESPN announced that Hollywood movie star Timothée Chalamet would be the guest picker for "College GameDay" this weekend in Atlanta ahead of the Texas-Georgia SEC Championship Game.

However, fans were puzzled at the selection of Chalamet, as the "Dune" star doesn’t have any clear ties to either of the schools playing.

"Nothing says SEC like a New York City Ivy Leaguer with dual citizenship in the US & France. Nailed it," one person on X wrote.
Turns out the NYC Ivy Leaguer with dual citizenship in the U.S. and France is a huge sports fan. Oops
