If Auburn loses and still gets in the SECG, the conspiracy will open up a whole nother can of worms.

yeah, some silly rule about allowing 1st team All-Americans to pump gas on the way to title games across state lines.

That smell is the UT shirts Lane Kiffen wore...BURN EM QUICK!

No way. Same deal as last years big xii title game -- if auburn goes down, tcu will take their place.

TCU getting in would be fine by me, I would have preferred Boise though.

Just before I put my son to bed, we prayed for the fall of S-CAM, and the almighty tiger, i've aways been a Spurrier fan, and you can bet i'll be in his corner in 15hrs.

Early thought: I've seen a lot of Auburn fans and others in the media who are already punching their ticket for Glendale. This whole scenario is way to similar to our own nightmare. So much of the story line (minus the fact that we didn't start a cheater at QB) is Tenn/LSU 2001.

1) Teams played earlier in the year, and the favored team in the championship game won at home.

2) The underdog had 3 losses, but was really playing well at the end of the year, and was completely under the radar.

3) The favored team had a brutal rivalry game the week before that took all they had to pull out a win.

4) The favored team wins, and they are in the NC game, but like always in football...it can be difficult to beat the same team twice in one season.

who knows what will happen next saturday, but we have seen this scenario before....just sayin'

Sad thing is, the media is already prepping for this. I've seen a lot of coverage saying that Auburn would likely still end up in Glendale even with a loss. I believe it too, after the NCAA ruling and what we know about the BCS they will absolutely take Auburn over TCU and if USC wins big look for Wisconsin to get the invite. Mark my words, as long as there is a BCS teams like TCU, Utah and Boise State will never play for a National Championship and yes I realize two of those schools will be in BCS conferences within the next two years but you understand my point.

I despise both these teams; am trying to think of optimal scenario where both "lose." So far all I have are 1) Auburn loses in the score but SC only wins on controversial bad call penalty after Spurrier stupidly had let clock run out or was standing on the field to nullify earlier score; or 2) Auburn beats the crap out of SC, but immediately afterwards new damning evidence comes out and they are ruled ineligible.

Hep me, y'all.
