Let's wait and see in the long run first. This is probably as close as Ga will get to playing for a NC. If you've watched football long enough this happens all the time. A new coach comes in and then everything lines up usually their 2nd or 3rd year and the players buy into what the coach is selling and the players believe and play over their heads.
They have a great season, the athletic department signs an extension for the coach, the fans think they're going to own their division and conference. Next thing you know, they start losing games they shouldnt, they start replacing coordinators, and eventually what used to work as motivation for the players now falls on deaf ears.
We all know what kind of coach Richt is and we are watching the same happen with him at Miami. Hopefully people have noticed this pattern and are aware of that because this is what causes alot of the bad hires we see across the country. Thats why I would much rather hire someone with a long track record of success. Not someone who is having one great year.
